My mother, Uta Mae, lived at Abelia for over three years, including 1.5 years during the pandemic. She was cared for tenderly and patiently, and l’m convinced she lived far longer than she would have anywhere else. Andrew and Betty treated her like family; they called her “Mama”, and she beamed whenever either of them entered her room. I am forever grateful for their kindness; it made my mother happy, and it made my life possible during a very difficult time. Thank you, Andrew and Betty!

Not only do they provide tender loving care, but they go out of their way to make their house a home for all their residents. From special birthday celebrations to the short field trips to the beach and to get ice cream and barbecues. Betty even brought my mom to my daughters wedding last summer so she could be part of it. Thank you Andrew and Betty for welcoming Mom into your home with lots of love and compassion and for keeping her safe, healthy, and secure. I can breathe easy knowing mom is in good hands!
